Position overview

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our dynamic team in Grand Rapids. In this role, you will be instrumental in identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, establishing relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the company’s growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation:
    • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and social media.
    • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Client Engagement:
    • Present MindSpring’s services to potential clients, highlighting our expertise in eLearning, gamification, blended learning, video, animation, immersive technology, extended reality, and application development.
    • Understand client needs and suggest appropriate products/services to meet their objectives.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain long-term trusting relationships with clients.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.
  • Sales Support:
    • Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Executives.
    • Assist in preparing commercial and pricing documents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the eLearning or technology sector.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for learning and staying updated on industry trends.
