Position overview

MindSpring is seeking a dynamic and results-driven E-Learning Account Executive to join our growing team. As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by establishing and nurturing relationships with prospective clients. You will be responsible for generating leads, managing the sales cycle, and closing new business opportunities within the e-learning sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with a passion for education and technology to join a fast-paced and innovative company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Lead Generation: Identify and target new business opportunities in the e-learning and corporate training space. Conduct prospecting activities, including cold calls, emails, and social media outreach to generate leads and set meetings.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met through tailored e-learning solutions.
  • Presentations & Demos: Lead product presentations, demonstrations, and webinars to potential clients. Effectively communicate the benefits of MindSpring’s e-learning solutions.
  • Proposal Development: Create customized proposals and quotes based on client requirements and business needs. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proposals meet client expectations.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Manage the end-to-end sales process from lead generation through to closing deals, ensuring timely follow-ups and consistent communication throughout.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, market needs, and competitors to better position Mindspring’s products and services.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline development in CRM software. Regularly report on sales progress and forecast potential revenue.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience (2+ years) in sales or business development, preferably within the e-learning, SaaS, or education technology industries.
  • Strong understanding of e-learning platforms, solutions, and trends.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complexconcepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and drive new business.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales performance tracking tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field is preferred.
