Position overview

MindSpring is seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive E-Learning Project Manager to join our growing team. As an E-Learning Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of e-learning projects from concept to completion. This role requires strong project management skills, the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients, and a passion for delivering high-quality digital learning experiences. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Coordination: Lead the planning, development, and execution of e-learning projects, including defining project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables. Collaborate with stakeholders to align project objectives with client needs and business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with instructional designers, developers, content creators, and other internal teams to ensure seamless execution of e-learning solutions. Facilitate effective communication across all project stakeholders.
  • Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and ensure that client needs are met with high levels of satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality assurance process, ensuring that e-learning courses and materials meet established standards and client specifications. Conduct reviews and ensure projects are delivered with minimal revisions.
  • Timeline & Budget Management: Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within financial parameters. Proactively identify and mitigate risks or issues that may impact project delivery.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, meeting notes, and client feedback. Regularly report on the status of projects to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Post-Launch Support: Oversee the post-launch phase of projects, including conducting evaluations, gathering feedback, and ensuring that any issues are addressed promptly. Assist clients with the ongoing implementation and maintenance of e-learning solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date on industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies in e-learning. Recommend improvements to processes and workflows to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in the e-learning, education technology, or digital content development sectors.
  • Strong understanding of e-learning platforms, instructional design principles, and digital content creation processes.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end project lifecycles, from planning and development to delivery and evaluation.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and clients at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project) and familiarity with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Ability to adapt to changing client needs and priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A background in education, instructional design, or a related field is preferred.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
