Position overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated E-Learning Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. As an SDR, you will play a key role in driving new business opportunities by identifying, prospecting, and qualifying potential leads for our e-learning solutions. You will be responsible for initiating outreach efforts, building relationships with decision-makers, and setting up meetings for the sales team. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and research potential clients within the e-learning, corporate training, and education sectors to build a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Outbound Outreach: Conduct targeted outreach via phone calls, emails, and social media platforms (LinkedIn) to engage prospects and introduce Mindspring’s e-learning solutions.
  • Qualify Leads: Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on business needs, budget, timeline, and decision-making authority to ensure high-quality handoffs to the sales team.
  • Nurture Relationships: Develop and maintain relationships with prospects through regular follow-ups, providing valuable insights about Mindspring’s solutions and how they align with the prospect’s objectives.
  • Sales Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives and the marketing team to align messaging, refine lead qualification criteria, and optimize the lead generation process.
  • CRM Management: Accurately track and manage leads, activities, and opportunities in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), ensuring timely follow-ups and updates.
  • Product Knowledge: Continuously expand your knowledge of Mindspring’s e-learning solutions and how they address the unique needs of different industries and client segments.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on lead generation activities, sales pipeline progress, and performance metrics to Sales Managers and leadership.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales development, lead generation, or a related field. Experience in SaaS, EdTech, or e-learning sales is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and influence potential clients.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), email automation software, and social media platforms (especially LinkedIn) for prospecting.
  • Motivated & Results-Driven: Self-starter with a strong desire to meet and exceed targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success.
  • Passion for Learning: An interest in e-learning solutions and how they can drive success in organizations and personal development.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
